What You'll Do
• Safely operate steel processing cut-to-length equipment.
• Read production paperwork and verify product specifications.
• Measure material using tape measures and micrometers.
• Maintain accurate production, inventory, and quality records.
• Communicate equipment, safety, or quality concerns promptly.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and aligned with safety standards.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Manufacturing or steel processing experience preferred.
Basic math skills, computer skills, and ability to read a tape measure and micrometer.
Ability to work independently, as part of a team, and on flexible shifts with overtime as needed.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for an entire shift.
Overhead crane experience is a plus.
