RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate directly with customers to manage and support all tendered shipments in a timely and professional manner.
• Evaluate customer requirements and delivery timelines against available fleet capacity and operational resources.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers, overseeing delivery schedules, route coordination, paperwork submission, and daily operational support.
• Reinforce driver compliance with company policies related to safety, maintenance, billing procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain contamination-free delivery operations by ensuring adherence to company dispatch and transportation procedures.
• Provide exceptional frontline customer service and support for existing customer accounts.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships to generate and secure freight opportunities.
• Respond promptly and professionally to all incoming phone calls and customer inquiries.
• Monitor email communications for incoming orders, inventory updates, and coordination among team members.
• Create, schedule, and manage orders within dispatch and planning systems in collaboration with the operations team.
• Share dispatch responsibilities and collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities as needed and maintain the ability to work remotely when required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must have 2+ years of experience as a Dispatcher.
• Previous Plastics/Resins Experience preferred
• Experience in Transportation, Bulk or Tank logistics preferred
