Accountabilities:
  • Lead and define the strategic roadmap for the consumer insights function, ensuring insights support business growth, brand development, and customer experience optimization.
  • Develop and implement research frameworks, methodologies, and operational processes that improve the quality, consistency, and impact of insights across the organization.
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Growth, Product, Design, and Engineering teams to integrate consumer understanding into strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Drive brand and growth insights initiatives, including brand tracking, marketing effectiveness analysis, audience segmentation, and campaign optimization.
  • Oversee UX/UI and customer experience research to support usability improvements, digital experience enhancements, and customer journey optimization.
  • Translate behavioral, attitudinal, and market research into actionable recommendations that improve customer engagement and business performance.
  • Identify emerging consumer, cultural, and market trends to support innovation, long-term strategy, and new growth opportunities.
  • Provide strategic oversight for New Product Development research initiatives to ensure alignment with broader business and consumer strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and communicate insights clearly to drive alignment and informed decision-making.
  • Mentor and develop insights team members while fostering a collaborative, high-performing, and consumer-centric culture.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in consumer insights, customer insights, UX research, market research, or related strategic disciplines.
  • Proven track record of building and evolving insights capabilities that influence marketing, product, brand, growth, and customer experience strategies.
  • Deep expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, including the ability to synthesize complex data into clear business recommendations.
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with demonstrated success connecting consumer insights to organizational growth and customer outcomes.
  • Experience influencing executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders through compelling storytelling and evidence-based insights.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth, and evolving environments with multiple priorities and organizational complexity.
  • Experience leading large-scale or multi-stakeholder research initiatives across brand, innovation, product, and customer experience functions.
  • Strong operational leadership skills, including process optimization, vendor management, and scaling research practices effectively.
  • Experience within DTC, wellness, healthcare, subscription-based, or consumer product environments is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with global and multi-market research initiatives, including sensitivity to cultural and regional market differences.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills with a highly analytical and customer-focused mindset.
