You will manage multiple cases while balancing program quality, budget oversight, and client advocacy. With a strong focus on communication, empathy, and strategic problem-solving, this role is ideal for professionals passionate about rehabilitation and human-centered support services. Regional travel will allow you to build direct relationships and deliver hands-on guidance throughout the rehabilitation process.

Accountabilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage customized vocational rehabilitation and return-to-work programs aligned with client goals and industry best practices.
  • Develop outcome-focused rehabilitation strategies for individuals receiving disability-related support.
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers, employers, vendors, and other stakeholders to create effective reintegration plans.
  • Conduct client assessments, oversee case management activities, and ensure seamless delivery of rehabilitation services.
  • Support transitioning members of the Canadian Forces with post-service employment planning and vocational integration.

  • Prepare detailed reports, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate sensitive information professionally and clearly.
  • Monitor progress, resolve challenges proactively, and adapt strategies to evolving client needs.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate combines vocational rehabilitation expertise with strong interpersonal skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

  • University degree in Health Sciences, Psychology, Counselling, Nursing, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in vocational rehabilitation, disability management, or active rehabilitation services.
  • Strong understanding of rehabilitation practices, disability insurance, medical terminology, and case management methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience managing budgets and coordinating external service providers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently with high accountability.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for regional travel requirements.
Benefits:
  • Fully remote work arrangement with flexibility and autonomy.
  • Competitive compensation package with performance-based incentive opportunities.
  • Comprehensive health coverage including medical, dental, vision, mental health, life, and disability insurance.
  • Employee and family assistance programs for well-being support.
  • Retirement savings and pension programs with employer matching contributions.
  • Generous paid time off including vacation, personal days, sick leave, and statutory leaves.
  • Wellness and health-related support programs.
  • Career development opportunities within a global and collaborative environment.
  • Inclusive workplace culture focused on diversity, growth, and employee support.
