Job Description
Job PurposeSales Managers have mastered all of the Assistant Sales Managers skills and have been identified by management as individuals that can contribute at a higher level to the Taylor's Bakery core management team. Duties and ResponsibilitiesSales Managers help coach Assistant Sales Managers. They still perform all of the Assistant Sales Managers responsibilities, with adding tasks such as: Scheduling Selling tiered cakes Servicing commercial accounts Actively managing money and reporting it on sales sheets Collaborating with the office on important business decisions Reprimanding employees for misconductQualificationsQualifications include, but not limited to: Fulfilling at least one full and successful year as an Assistant Sales Manage Previous retail experience required Serve Safe Certification requiredWorking ConditionsSales Managers are required to work 40 hours per week. The job is comprised of five 8 hour shifts. Assistant Sales Managers are required to be able to work the opening shift (6:45 a.m. – 3:45 p.m.) and the closing shift (9:05 a.m. – 6:05 p.m.). Saturday work is required. Sales Managers will be required to pickup extra time in order to cover short shifts or extended holiday hours. Physical RequirementsThis job can be physically demanding where employees are required to stand for extended periods of time, lift heavy objects on a regular basis, do repetitive tasks and consistently maintain an excellent level of customer service.
