What You’ll Do:
At AKG the Robotic Welder is responsible for operating and supporting robotic welding equipment used to
attach tanks to cores in accordance with blueprint specifications and AKG quality standards. This role ensures
consistent weld quality, supports production targets, performs routine machine checks and preventative
maintenance, and collaborates with team members across shifts to maintain efficient, safe, and reliable welding
operations.
· Operate robotic welding equipment to weld tanks to cores according to blueprints, work orders, and
AKG standards.
· Perform machine and tool checks to ensure proper operation and readiness prior to production.
· Set up, clean, and maintain welding guns, replacing components as needed to maintain weld quality.
· Inspect welded coolers to verify weld integrity and identify defects or nonconformances.
· Communicate quality feedback, including leaks or defects, with Test Tank and supervisory personnel.
· Meet assigned production quotas while maintaining safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
· Update production documentation, performance boards, and data collection systems accurately.
· Perform basic preventative maintenance and report any equipment or process issues promptly.

Physical Demands:
· Must be able to walk for the duration of the shift
· Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. frequently
· May be required to bend, stoop, push, pull, twist, and turn
· Required to wear PPE including steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection
