Employment Type: Part-Time / Flexible. 40-50$ an hour based on experience.
Location: Great Heights ABA Clinics/hybrid
Schedule: Flexible based on clinician availability and client needs
Position Overview: Licensed Therapists provide high-quality behavioral health services to children and families within the scope of their professional licensure. This position is designed to provide flexibility in caseload size and scheduling, allowing the clinician to maintain a limited number of clients and/or groups based on their availability, clinical interests, and organizational needs. The therapist collaborates with BCBAs and other members of the multidisciplinary team to support coordinated, family-centered care. As appropriate and based on interest and qualifications, the position may also provide opportunities for participation in collaborative ABA intake assessments and other clinical initiatives.
Qualifications- Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
- Current Indiana licensure such as LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or another applicable independent clinical license.
- Experience working with children and/or families is preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Commitment to ethical, family-centered, and evidence-based care.
- Provide individual, family, group, or other clinically appropriate services within the scope of the clinician's license.
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment interventions based on each client's identified needs.
- Provide services to children, adolescents, and/or families as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Complete required assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other documentation within applicable requirements.
- Monitor client progress and make clinically appropriate recommendations.
- Communicate appropriately with caregivers regarding treatment progress and recommendations.
- Maintain professional and ethical standards consistent with licensure requirements.
- Collaborate with BCBAs, RBTs, caregivers, and other members of a client's treatment team when appropriate.
- Participate in multidisciplinary consultation when a client's needs overlap with ABA services.
- Communicate relevant clinical information with other members of the treatment team while maintaining appropriate confidentiality.
- Support a coordinated approach to care for children and families receiving multiple services.
- Participate in ABA intake or assessment activities when appropriate, within the clinician's scope of practice and based on interest and availability.
Based on the clinician's experience and interests, opportunities may include:
- Facilitating therapeutic groups.
- Developing social-emotional or social-skills groups.
- Providing caregiver support or education.
- Providing family therapy.
- Supporting children with anxiety, emotional regulation, social skills, or other behavioral health needs.
- Developing specialized services that complement ABA treatment.
