POSITION SUMMARY
You'll hire the crew, set the culture, and own the results. As Production Manager for our newest market, you'll oversee all field operations in Boise — ensuring every job is done safely, on time, and on budget, while delivering the kind of customer experience that builds a reputation worth having. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead, Manage & Accountability
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and train your production team from the ground up
- Communicate TerraFirma’s vision clearly and ensure every team member understands their role in achieving it
- Set clear performance expectations and hold your team accountable to meeting them
- Facilitate regular team meetings, one-on-ones, and training sessions to drive engagement and professional growth
- Conduct performance reviews and collaborate with HR on key people decisions
- Identify and remove obstacles that prevent your team from doing their best work
- Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and create pathways for employee advancement
Production & Operations
- Meet and exceed production goals and KPIs for the Boise market
- Review and approve daily sales and job assignments to ensure smooth, timely execution
- Conduct regular site visits to assess job progress, coach team behavior, and identify efficiency improvements
- Ensure every installation is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards
- Keep vehicles, trailers, equipment, and tools properly maintained and in optimal working condition
- Monitor project progress and keep jobs on track from a time and budgetary standpoint
Customer Experience
- Handle customer escalations with urgency, professionalism, and a commitment to resolution
- Ensure every customer interaction reflects TerraFirma’s standard of exceptional service
- Proactively address and resolve issues before they escalate
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of experience as a Foreman or Supervisor in the construction trades
- Proven track record of leading teams, driving results, and holding people accountable
- Solid understanding of construction principles and project management practices
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present clearly to individuals and groups
- Comfortable splitting time between the office and active job sites, including small or tight enclosed spaces
- Proficient with digital tools, reporting, and project management software
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, or related field preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Fluent in English (spoken, written); Spanish is a plus
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs regularly
- Stand, walk, and perform strenuous labor for extended periods
- Work in small or tight enclosed spaces such as crawlspaces and basements
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions
COMPENSATION
Competitive pay: $80,000–$105,000 DOE ($100,000-$130,000 potential annual earnings with bonuses)
