About the position:

We are looking for a Educational Services Consultant to organize and coordinate the delivery of activities and services that support retention and upselling ensuring high-quality services are delivered efficiently and retention is maximized with positive user experience mainly in Strategical Accounts with the Oxford Quality Program.

The successful candidate should be a proactive and self-driven professional with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, and a clear focus on achieving results. The role requires proven experience in teacher training, ELT and/or EMI teaching, an internationally or locally recognized teaching qualification, and exceptional presentation and facilitation skills.

This role should be based in Monterrey, Mexico.

Main responsibilities:

  • In conjunction with Head of Sales, create services packages that generates low cost/effort to OUP and delivers high value/impact to partners by maximizing existing assets and resources
  • Actively contribute to the development of innovative solutions that link to OUP’s strategy and deliver against short and long-term goals
  • Responsible for the design of the OQ Program Schools Master Plans to guarantee high level service and achievement of targets defined for the 3 years of the contract.
  • Manage Oxford Quality services packages as to ensure the services proposed to each is in accordance to the school main target.
  • Resonsible for the planning and budgeting of annual activities and liase with Professional Development Services, Marketing, and Sales colleagues to deliver execution against agreed set of objectives
  • Coordinate the work of external services providers ensuring OUP procedures and policies are followed, as well as the quality of deliverables.
  • Work in collaboration with Sales team supporting them retain existing partner schools.
  • Provide market analysis and competitive benchmarking acting as a subject matter expert for Services delivered in the market.
  • Create KPIs on OQ and the Services packages to each Tier and ongoing reporting to measure effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Responsible for supporting the Sales Enablemnet team on the the continuous development of the Educational Consultants local Team with follow up in local language to the activities done globally.
  • Comunication with the UK product Team working as a representative of the Mexico Market to share the market needs and organise research trips, focus groups and piloting of new products when needed.
  • Adhere to OUP Ethical Policies

This is a full-time role. Travelling will be required.

About You:

The successful candidate will need to possess the following skills:

Essential:

  • Educated to degree level with international or locally recognized teaching qualification.
  • Experience in teacher training
  • ELT/EMI teaching experience
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Understanding of the Mexican Educational market
  • High sense of organization and priority
  • Effective communication skills
  • C1 level of English or higher
  • Good IT skills and the ability to learn new systems
  • Proactive, independent, problem solver, decision maker and strongly goal oriented
  • A strong self-starter able to analyse, look for and identify opportunities
  • Ability to produce and deliver distance training
  • Team Player with strong Leadership Skills
