ABOUT THE ROLE |
The Senior Project Manager – MES will support a major MES implementation project within a regulated life sciences environment. The selected resource will serve as a core member of the client’s MES project team, coordinating and orchestrating IT-related activities across local and global teams to support successful project execution.
RESPONSIBILITIES |
• Serve as a key interface between local and global IT teams and the MES project organization.
• Coordinate project activities, dependencies, priorities, schedules, and deliverables.
• Support the Site MES Lead Project Manager in the overall execution of the project.
• Identify and track project risks, issues, and cross-functional dependencies.
• Ensure proper communication, follow-up, and escalation of critical project activities.
• Participate as a dedicated core team member throughout the project lifecycle.
Required
• Strong project coordination, planning, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage priorities, schedules, dependencies, risks, and deliverables across multiple teams.
• Proficiency with MS Project and Office 365.
Preferred
• Experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other regulated life sciences environments.
• Experience coordinating activities between local and global IT teams.

Technical Skills
- Multi-disciplined project management, from project inception through completion.
- Application of engineering principles and methodologies to project and support work.
- cGMP and regulatory compliance in design and construction activities.
- Coordination and review of A&E firm design deliverables (drawings, specifications).
- Project cost estimating, forecasting, scheduling, and cost tracking.
- Construction contract administration, including bid review, submittals, and change requests.
Soft Skills
- Cross-functional coordination across project teams and outside design firms.
- Clear communication through status reports, design meetings, and information transmittals.
- Technical problem-solving and sound decision-making, with documentation of team decisions.
- Safety-focused mindset and diligence in inspecting work for conformance to standards.
