Schedule: 9PM-6AM MNL | M-F
Job Summary: The Finance Team Leader is responsible for guiding and developing a team to deliver accurate financial data, analysis, and reporting that supports business decision-making. This role combines leadership, performance management, and process optimization to ensure operational excellence. The Finance Team Leader will mentor team members, manage escalations, oversee data integrity, and collaborate with business leaders to drive efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement.
What does a day in the life of a Team Leader took like?
- Leadership & Development: Coach, mentor, and motivate team members, setting clear goals aligned with organizational objectives. Address performance issues and foster a collaborative, professional work environment
- Performance Management: Monitor team performance against KPIs and SLAs, manage escalations, and drive continuous improvement through data-driven strategies
- Data & Analysis: Oversee collection, validation, reconciliation, and analysis of financial and operational data. Structure and interpret large data sets to identify trends, provide insights, and support business decisions
- Business Support: Collaborate with leadership and other departments to identify process improvements, optimize operations, and deliver accurate reports and presentations
- Operational Excellence: Manage sales order data, productivity tracking, and data remediation efforts. Ensure adherence to company policies, compliance standards, and accuracy in reporting
- Talent & Collaboration: Lead a team of analysts and associates, supporting professional development and maintaining strong cross-functional relationships
- Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with products, services, and processes while driving team learning and development initiatives
- Ad-hoc & Strategic Projects: Handle special assignments from leadership, ensuring timely and effective execution
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Meet or exceed performance targets for related KPIs
- Continuously improve knowledge of products, services, and processes by participating in training programs and continuous learning modules
- Collaborate with other departments as needed
- Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers and colleagues at all times
- Perform other duties as assigned
What are the required qualifications for a Team Leader?
- 3+ years of experience in a finance related /finance line of business role (such as collections, billings or similar), preferably in a SaaS industry or similar
- 1+ year in a leadership or supervisory in finance related role/finance line of business
- Previous client-facing experience (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a team to achieve performance targets and deliver exceptional customer experiences
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and results-driven mindset focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical skills with an understanding of data’s significance to business operations
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and other customer service tools/software
