Here's What You Need

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Required

• 1 Year related healthcare, adult education, and/or community education experience Required

• Other National Child Passenger Safety Technician Certification Upon Hire Preferred

• Other National Child Passenger Safety Technician Certification 6 Months Required

• Effective communication skills, strong verbal and written communication skills

What You Will Do

• Educate the community on child passenger safety using effective adult - learning strategies while maintaining clear, confidential participant records.

• Support the Child Automobile Safety Initiative by attending meetings, trainings, and completing quarterly fitting - station events; maintain CPST certification.

• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, serve as a patient advocate, and foster positive relationships with families, coworkers, and physicians.

• Coordinate and manage class/event scheduling, provide substitute coverage, mentor new technicians, and participate in peer evaluations.

• Travel to other THR locations as needed to support child - safety events and uphold high standards of public relations.

• Follow all organizational policies, recognize and report ethical or legal concerns, and help identify and improve inefficient processes.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance care continuity and support system - wide quality improvement efforts.
