Our three beautiful communities in Visalia, California, provide Independent Living, Assisted Living, Enhanced Assisted Living, and Memory Care. We are looking for a talented, dependable, and customer-focused Cook who takes pride in preparing fresh, high-quality meals while helping create an outstanding dining experience for the seniors we proudly serve.

As a Cook, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional meals while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.
Your responsibilities include:
- Preparing delicious, nutritious meals following recipes and Signature Dining standards
- Following production sheets to ensure meals are prepared efficiently and accurately
- Cooking food to proper temperatures while maintaining freshness and presentation
- Ensuring all meals are served with consistency, quality, and attention to detail
- Practicing safe food handling and maintaining excellent sanitation standards
- Properly storing, labeling, dating, and rotating food products
- Completing meal production records accurately
- Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, workstations, and food preparation areas
- Assisting with deep cleaning projects and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen
- Supporting fellow culinary team members to ensure exceptional service every day
- Serving as a shift leader for the kitchen when needed in the absence of the Director of Signature Dining or Sous Chef
- Loves cooking and takes pride in preparing high-quality meals
- Enjoys creating positive experiences through food
- Has strong attention to detail and food safety practices
- Thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Values hospitality and exceptional customer service
- Enjoys serving older adults with compassion and respect
Preferred:
- At least one year of food service experience
- Previous experience in restaurants, hotels, country clubs, healthcare, or senior living communities
Required:
- Strong customer service skills and commitment to excellence
- Ability to read recipes, production sheets, and communicate effectively in English
- Current Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain)
- Current CPR & First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain)
- Annual continuing education as required
- Ability to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation
