Job Description
SUMMARY:
Responsible and accountable for providing direction to assigned personnel to ensure hospital goals are met. Exhibit leadership qualities that will inspire, motivate and develop environmental services department into a cohesive group.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years verifiable EST/Lead experience in organizing work forces to obtain budgeting and production goals. Must be able to identify and implement cost saving ideas and programs through independent decision making. Health Care experience a plus.
Other: Complete understanding of all aspects of Environmental Services/Housekeeping/Recycling including knowledge of all cleaning chemicals and floor finishes preferred. Ability to manage work flow and interact positively with co‑workers and other hospital staff. Effective oral and written communication skills. Knowledge and use of computer.

Must be able to lift, push and/or pull 50 pounds or more using proper body mechanics. Must have a keen sense of hearing and visual acuity. Must be able to tolerate cleaning chemicals, etc.

Hospital environment, all areas.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a position in a hospital setting which is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Customer service staff: 5 days a week, 8 hour shifts. Must be flexible with work hours and schedule changes.
