Job Description
PAY RATE: $25 PER HOUR
JOB SUMMARY:
Park City Municipal Corporation is developing a comprehensive facility asset-management program to support daily facility maintenance operations, preventive maintenance, and long-term capital planning. This position will collect and verify facility asset information, research maintenance and replacement needs, organize data for future planning, and support maintenance staff with routine repairs, cleaning, and other facility work.
This is a seasonal position that will end at the end of the 2027 winter season.
TYPICAL DUTIES:
- Collect and verify facility asset information, including equipment details, locations, photographs, conditions, and ensure proper labeling.
- Research and organize maintenance, lifecycle, and cost information to support preventive maintenance and long-term capital planning.
- Assist staff with routine carpentry, hardware, drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, cleaning, and fixture-repair tasks.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to perform accurate, detail-oriented work with limited supervision, manage changing priorities, stay consistent, and possess a strong desire to learn.
- Basic experience performing routine maintenance or repair work, such as painting, minor carpentry, fixture repair, general cleaning, and equipment maintenance.
- Valid Utah driver license and able to pass required background screening.
- Able to carry and lift up to 50 pounds.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Has experience in data collection, management, analysis, and reporting.
- Understands facility maintenance, construction, inspections, asset management, GIS, technical documentation, Microsoft Office, and work order management systems.
- Interested in facility management, maintenance, and information technology.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Work will occur in offices, mechanical and electrical rooms, garages, treatment facilities, rooftops, attics, and exterior areas.
- Conditions will include heights, ladders or lifts, moving equipment, weather exposure, noise, dust, poor ventilation, fumes, chemicals, traffic, and may require personal protective equipment.
