The Marketing Lead will be responsible for driving the complete marketing strategy in India, combining strategic planning, creative execution, and performance optimization. The role requires ownership of brand growth, demand generation, partnerships, and marketing operations while collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve measurable business outcomes.
- Develop and execute the India go-to-market strategy aligned with broader business objectives, including brand positioning, messaging, campaigns, and customer touchpoints.
- Build and optimize demand generation initiatives across paid, organic, email, social, content, SEO, and partner channels to create a consistent pipeline of qualified leads.
- Own product marketing activities, including positioning, messaging frameworks, sales enablement materials, and launch campaigns.
- Manage marketing operations, including automation workflows, lead lifecycle processes, campaign attribution, reporting, and performance tracking.
- Analyze marketing performance, website effectiveness, and campaign ROI to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
- Develop strategic partnerships with ecosystem organizations, industry groups, investors, and relevant market stakeholders.
- Lead corporate communications, thought leadership initiatives, PR activities, webinars, and community-building programs to strengthen market authority.
- Manage marketing budgets, quarterly planning, resource allocation, and investment decisions to maximize commercial impact.
- Use AI-powered tools and emerging technologies to improve content creation, campaign execution, reporting, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with distributed teams across different regions while maintaining strong communication and alignment.
The ideal candidate is an experienced marketing leader with a strong track record of building and scaling marketing functions, driving demand, and executing full-funnel strategies. You should combine strategic thinking, commercial awareness, creativity, and data-driven decision-making.
- 12+ years of experience leading marketing functions with responsibility across multiple channels and initiatives.
- Proven experience developing integrated marketing strategies covering brand, content, demand generation, paid media, and marketing operations.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, website optimization, campaign performance, and conversion strategies.
- Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot or equivalent tools.
- Experience managing paid advertising platforms including Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads, with ownership of budgets and performance reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to measure pipeline contribution, ROI, and marketing effectiveness for senior leadership.
- Strong ability to use AI tools to improve marketing workflows, content production, campaign development, and analytics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams and time zones.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Comfortable working in a remote-first, fast-paced, startup or scale-up environment.
- Experience building teams, launching new market initiatives, or creating marketing functions from the ground up is a plus.
- Familiarity with equity management, shares, or B2B marketing to founders, finance leaders, or similar audiences is advantageous.
