What You'll Do

You'll evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic pain using evidence-based medical and interventional techniques.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, medical histories, and physical examinations
  • Diagnose a wide variety of acute and chronic pain conditions
  • Develop individualized treatment plans focused on improving function and quality of life
  • Perform interventional pain procedures based on your training and credentials
  • Prescribe medications and therapies responsibly while following regulatory guidelines
  • Utilize fluoroscopic and/or ultrasound-guided procedures when appropriate
  • Educate patients and families on treatment options, expectations, and long-term pain management
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff to coordinate care
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation within the electronic health record
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives while helping maintain our high clinical standards
Practice Highlights
  • Primarily outpatient practice
  • Full-time preferred (part-time and contract opportunities considered)
  • Limited or no hospital call, depending on schedule

QualificationsRequired
  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Medicine, Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Neurology, or a related specialty
  • Active Florida medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • DEA registration
  • BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
  • Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
Preferred
  • Fellowship training in Pain Management or Interventional Spine
  • Experience in an outpatient pain management practice
  • Experience performing fluoroscopic or ultrasound-guided procedures
  • Familiarity with modern electronic health record systems

Requirements:

Skills and Qualifications:

- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.

- Board certification or eligibility in neurology, pain management, or related specialty.

- Valid medical license to practice in the relevant state or region.

- Proven experience in managing spine, pain, and neurological conditions.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting.

- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

- Knowledge of current medical technologies and treatment protocols in pain and neuro care.
