POSITION DESCRIPTION: Reporting to the IT Senior Manager, the IT Systems Administrator; Operations Support serves as the primary technical resource for manufacturing, warehouse, and office operations while administering, troubleshooting and maintaining the organization's core IT infrastructure. This role is responsible for managing Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Entra ID, endpoint management, networking, security platforms, enterprise applications, and end-user computing environments. The Systems Administrator will lean into their strong collaboration and communication skills, partnering with Corporate IT, Operations, Engineering, and third-party vendors to maintain reliable, secure, and scalable technology that supports daily business operations while providing a high level of customer service and responsive technical support for end users and manufacturing systems. The ideal candidate will be motivated to act as a master of their craft, staying on top of evolving industry trends to be able to implement with technology projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administer Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and user identity management, as well as cybersecurity platforms, security policies, multi-factor authentication, and vulnerability remediation
- Manage endpoint deployment, configuration, patching, security, and compliance using Microsoft Intune, Action1, and related management tools
- Maintain Windows operating systems, Group Policy, endpoint security, and automation through PowerShell scripting
- Configure support network infrastructure including Fortinet firewalls, Ubiquiti networking, wireless networks, switches, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP
- Support server infrastructure, cloud services, virtualization, backup, disaster recovery, and infrastructure monitoring
- Support ERP, WMS, PIM, manufacturing, and warehouse technologies, including barcode printers, handheld scanners, RF devices, and industrial workstations
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, conference room technology, and peripheral equipment, and concurrently provide technical support for office, warehouse, manufacturing, and remote users
- Resolve hardware, software, networking, and business application issues while documenting work in the IT service management system
- Maintain IT asset inventory, technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures
- Participate in infrastructure upgrades, acquisitions, technology modernization, and process automation while ensuring compliance with IT security policies and best practices
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- 5+ years of experience in Systems Administration, Infrastructure Support, or a related IT role
- Experience having supported manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, or industrial environments
- Strong working knowledge of: Microsoft 365 Administration, Windows 10/11, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Group Policy, Microsoft Intune, and PowerShell
- Experience administering Fortinet Firewalls, Ubiquiti Networking, Action1, SentinelOne, Halo ITSM, PRTG Network Monitor, RingCentral, Portnox NAC
- Experience supporting enterprise networking including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, wireless networking, and firewall technologies
- Experience administering endpoint management and security platforms
- Proven ability to prioritize multiple support requests while maintaining production system availability
- Flexibility to travel up to 10% during peak times
- Experience supporting Epicor Prophet 21 (P21), Stibo PIM, and BarTender
- Experience having participated in infrastructure migrations, acquisitions, and enterprise technology projects
- Experience supporting manufacturing automation environments
- CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, ITIL Foundation Certification
