Job Description

Create a welcoming first impression for Colorado’s business community.

The Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce exists to strengthen Colorado's economy by supporting businesses, developing leaders and creating opportunities for our region to thrive.

Our building brings that community together. Members arrive for meetings, guests attend programs and tenants and employees go about their day. As our Lobby Concierge & Guest Services Coordinator, you’ll help make those everyday connections feel welcoming and easy.

Why This Role Matters

A warm greeting, a clear answer and a thoughtful response can shape someone’s entire experience. You’ll be the person people turn to when they arrive, need directions or aren’t sure where to start.

Reporting to the Facilities Director, you’ll help keep the lobby welcoming and the building ready for the people who use it. If you enjoy meeting people, solving practical problems and keeping things organized, this role offers a hands-on way to support the Chamber’s work every day.

What You'll Own

  • Welcome members, visitors, tenants and employees and connect them with the right people and resources.
  • Manage front desk activity, answer calls and respond to questions with patience and care.
  • Support building safety by monitoring visitor access, issuing badges and following opening and closing procedures.
  • Keep the lobby and shared spaces welcoming and ready for use, assist with light maintenance and flag building concerns to the Facilities team.
  • Coordinate deliveries, maintain visitor information and help colleagues with meeting scheduling and routine administrative needs.
  • Monitor and restock office supplies so employees have what they need.
  • Resolve everyday guest concerns calmly and connect people with additional support when needed.

What You'll Bring

  • A high school diploma or equivalent. Experience in reception, hospitality, customer service or front desk operations is preferred.
  • A welcoming approach and clear communication that help people feel comfortable asking for assistance.
  • Organization, attention to detail and the ability to stay calm when several people need your help at once.
  • Dependable follow-through, sound judgment and care with confidential information.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and multi-line phone systems is helpful.

Why Join the Chamber?

You’ll meet people from across Colorado’s business community and see how the Chamber brings them together. Working with the Facilities team and colleagues across the organization, you’ll contribute to a shared purpose and have opportunities to learn about our programs and services.

Our values of leadership, collaboration, empowerment, service and impact guide how we work. In this role, you’ll have room to take initiative, build relationships and suggest practical improvements to the guest experience.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: $22.00 to $22.50 per hour

The Chamber offers a competitive benefits package, professional development opportunities and the chance to contribute to work that makes a meaningful difference for businesses and communities across Colorado.
