GenAI Account Executive in United States at Jobgether
Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a GenAI Account Executive based in the United States.
As a GenAI Account Executive, you will drive new customer acquisition and strategic account growth across a portfolio of AI safety and security services. You will own the full sales cycle, building relationships with leading AI labs and generative AI companies developing next-generation models. Through consultative selling, you will help senior stakeholders understand how AI security, red teaming, model evaluation, and post-training data solutions can address their most critical challenges. Working closely with technical, solutions, and delivery teams, you will shape tailored proposals and position services as long-term strategic investments. This role offers the opportunity to influence how advanced AI systems are tested, evaluated, and safeguarded. You will join a mission-driven, fast-growing environment where commercial success contributes directly to a safer and more trustworthy AI ecosystem.
You will lead the end-to-end sales process for new generative AI customers, combining strategic prospecting, consultative discovery, and commercial execution to build a strong pipeline and close high-value opportunities. Your key responsibilities will include:
Own the full sales cycle for new large language model (LLM) and generative AI customers, from initial outreach and discovery through negotiation and contract closure.
Build and develop relationships with senior stakeholders across product, research, AI safety, security, and executive leadership teams.
Lead discovery conversations to understand customer objectives, technical environments, business priorities, and risk profiles.
Position AI security and safety services, red teaming, model evaluation, and post-training data solutions as strategic offerings aligned with customer needs.
Collaborate with solutions and delivery teams during pre-sales to define project scope, develop tailored proposals, and ensure solutions address customer requirements.
Develop deal strategies, manage pricing discussions, negotiate commercial terms, and drive opportunities toward successful closure.
Maintain accurate sales pipeline data, forecasts, and reporting to support reliable revenue planning and informed decision-making.
Identify new market opportunities and expand the customer base among influential AI labs and GenAI-native organizations.
Build trusted, long-term customer relationships that establish the business as a strategic partner in AI safety and security.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is a commercially driven sales professional with a strong track record of closing complex enterprise deals and the ability to engage confidently with technical decision-makers. You combine consultative selling skills with resilience, autonomy, and an interest in the evolving generative AI landscape. Key qualifications include:
At least 5 years of experience in enterprise or strategic sales, ideally within AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, or technical services.
A proven track record of closing complex, high-value deals with technically sophisticated customers.
Experience selling consultative, services-led solutions rather than relying exclusively on transactional SaaS sales.
Strong discovery, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to engage senior decision-makers and build credibility across multiple functions.
The ability to understand technical concepts and communicate their business value without needing to work hands-on with the underlying technology.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex AI safety and security challenges into clear commercial value propositions.
A self-directed, resilient, and adaptable approach, with the confidence to operate in an ambiguous, rapidly evolving market.
Familiarity with generative AI, large language models, or AI safety concepts is a strong advantage.
Strong commercial judgment and the ability to manage multiple opportunities, maintain pipeline discipline, and prioritize effectively.
Benefits:
On-target earnings (OTE) of $250,000–$300,000 for US-based candidates, with the range varying according to experience.
Stock options, offering an opportunity to participate in the company's growth.
Compensation at the time of offer will be determined based on experience.
The opportunity to work with leading AI labs and influential generative AI organizations.
The chance to contribute to the development, evaluation, and safeguarding of next-generation AI models.
A high-performing, mission-driven team working at the forefront of AI safety and security.
Exposure to a fast-growing market with significant opportunities for professional and financial growth.
