Job Description

About us

Po Dental Group has served Fairfield families for more than a decade. Dr. Edward Po and our team offer general, cosmetic, restorative, implant, orthodontic and emergency care under one roof. We're known for gentle, judgment-free care and a welcoming office where patients get warm blankets and coffee. We also invest in the technology that makes the work better: iTero and 3Shape scanners, same-day crowns, digital X-rays and 3D cone-beam imaging.

Our practice is busy and growing, and we're adding an RDA who enjoys a full schedule, takes pride in their chairside skills and wants to work with a team that supports each other.

  • Current California Registered Dental Assistant license
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Dental X-ray certification and all other required California RDA certifications
  • RDA experience required
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, clinical procedures, and infection control required
  • Dentrix experience preferred
  • Experience with iTero, 3Shape, E4D, implants, oral surgery, endodontics, or Invisalign is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and patient-care skills
  • Ability to work efficiently, remain composed, and prioritize responsibilities in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to complete assigned duties promptly without sacrificing accuracy or quality of care

Workplace Culture and Professional Expectations

We value a respectful, positive, and team-focused workplace. The successful candidate must:

  • Demonstrate professionalism in appearance, communication, and conduct
  • Arrive on time, prepared, and ready to begin working at the scheduled start time
  • Maintain excellent, dependable daily attendance
  • Communicate promptly and responsibly regarding any unavoidable absence or delay
  • Maintain a mature, respectful, and solutions-oriented attitude
  • Contribute to a respectful, positive, and professional workplace by communicating concerns directly and through the appropriate channels.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and remain productive throughout the workday

  • Work cooperatively and willingly assist coworkers when needed
  • Accept direction and constructive feedback professionally
  • Take accountability for assigned duties and follow through on responsibilities
  • Remain calm, flexible, and professional during busy or challenging periods
  • Treat every patient and team member with patience, compassion, and respect
