Job Description
The Director of Sales Implementation is a critical leader responsible for ensuring that new sales contracts for large organizations are successfully translated into on-time, on-budget, and high-quality client deployments. This role serves as the bridge between Sales and Delivery, owing to the execution of complex client implementations from contract handoff through go-live. The Director creates project plans, standard work and detailed processes, leads cross-functional teams, manages timelines and risks, aligns internal resources, and ensures client expectations are met or exceeded.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop comprehensive implementation strategies, processes, project scopes, timelines, and resource plans.
Translate sales proposals, contracts, and statements of work into executable delivery plans.
Own end-to-end delivery of client implementations from contract handoff through go-live.
Oversee multiple concurrent implementations, ensuring milestones, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Partner with Sales during late-stage deal cycles to support solution design, implementation feasibility, and delivery planning.
Lead and develop implementation managers, project leads, and support staff.
Drive collaboration across Sales, Service, Production, IT, Art, Finance, and Customer Service teams.
Serve as a primary escalation point for complex implementations.
Develop and refine standard implementation playbooks, templates, and best practices.
Ensure implementations remain within approved scope, timelines, and budget parameters.
8+ years of experience in implementation, project management, sales operations, or client delivery leadership.
Proven success leading complex, cross-functional implementations in a B2B environment.
Experience partnering directly with Sales teams on solution design and deal execution.
Proficiency with CRM systems, project management tools, and reporting dashboards.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
Professional fluency in English (required); bilingual proficiency in Spanish (preferred).
Strong project and program management capabilities.
Exceptional communication and executive presence with clients and internal leadership.
