Surf Concierge in Palm Desert, California at DSRT Surf

DSRT SURF isn’t a traditional workplace, and we’re not looking for traditional hospitality staff.

We’re building a fast growing hospitality and lifestyle brand where surf culture, guest experience, energy, and community come together in a unique way. We’re looking for positive, polished, and guest focused team members who are excited to help create an elevated and memorable arrival experience for every guest visiting DSRT SURF.

As part of the Surf Concierge Team, you are the first point of contact for guests arriving for their surf session. Your role is to create a seamless, welcoming, and high energy check in experience while helping guests feel prepared, informed, and excited for their time in the water.

This is a fully on site role in Palm Desert, California.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome guests upon arrival and help create a positive and elevated first impression
• Support guest check in, reservations, waivers, and arrival coordination
• Assist guests with questions, directions, session information, and overall hospitality needs
• Help prepare guests for their surf session experience and operational flow
• Maintain clean, organized, and guest ready check in and arrival areas
• Communicate professionally with guests, surf operations, and leadership teams
• Assist with operational setup, organization, and guest readiness throughout shifts
• Help maintain safety, cleanliness, and hospitality standards across guest facing areas

What You Bring

• Previous hospitality, guest service, resort, recreation, or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude and guest first mindset
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in fast paced environments
• Professional appearance and strong attention to guest experience
• Comfortable working outdoors and in active hospitality environments
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members across departments

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and move throughout indoor and outdoor operational areas for extended periods
• Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and temperature conditions
• Ability to maintain a high level of guest interaction throughout shifts
• Ability to work in a fast paced hospitality environment

Schedule Expectations

This is a part time, in person position. Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events may be required based on operational needs.
