- Lead and mentor multiple software engineering teams, supporting engineering managers and senior contributors in their professional growth and leadership development.
- Drive the execution of large-scale software initiatives, ensuring teams deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable SaaS solutions aligned with organizational priorities.
- Develop and communicate long-term technical strategy, including cloud-native architecture, DevOps transformation, CI/CD modernization, and AI-assisted engineering workflows.
- Collaborate closely with product, operations, security, and executive stakeholders to prioritize roadmaps, optimize resources, and ensure successful delivery of business-critical initiatives.
- Build and maintain a strong engineering culture centered on ownership, innovation, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Lead recruitment and retention efforts to build diverse, high-performing teams capable of supporting rapid organizational growth.
- Oversee engineering budgets, operational processes, and software development standards to improve efficiency, scalability, and cross-functional alignment.
- Partner with customers, business leaders, and external stakeholders when needed to provide technical guidance and ensure successful product delivery.
- 10+ years of experience in software development, including significant leadership experience managing large engineering organizations and distributed teams.
- Proven success building and retaining high-performing software engineering teams in fast-paced SaaS or e-commerce environments.
- Strong experience leading platform modernization initiatives involving cloud-native infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and operational scalability.
- Demonstrated ability to drive AI adoption within engineering organizations, including generative AI tooling, AI-assisted workflows, and engineering enablement strategies.
- Expertise managing the full software development lifecycle for enterprise-scale SaaS applications.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, fault-tolerant architectures, web services, and scalable cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban, with a strong commitment to operational excellence and continuous delivery.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align technical vision to business outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is preferred.
- Experience in e-commerce, retail technology, online marketplaces, or digital marketing environments is highly valued.
- Competitive base salary ranging from $175,000 to $328,000 annually, depending on experience, skills, and location.
- Eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus targeted at 15% of base salary.
