This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an AMS Data Platform Support Specialist in Brazil.
You will be part of a global data support team responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous evolution of cloud-based data platforms. This role focuses on operational support and incident resolution across complex Azure environments, working closely with international teams in a follow-the-sun model. You will handle critical data and analytics workloads, ensuring availability and reliability for business users across different regions. The position requires strong hands-on technical expertise combined with a proactive mindset for problem-solving and automation. You will contribute to the improvement of modern data platforms leveraging cloud-native technologies. This is a highly collaborative and international environment where data reliability and operational excellence are key priorities.
- Provide operational support and ensure continuity of cloud-based data platforms, resolving incidents and service disruptions.
- Support and troubleshoot Azure Databricks workloads, including notebooks, jobs, clusters, Delta tables, and Unity Catalog.
- Maintain and evolve CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, ensuring reliable deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot data pipelines in Azure Data Factory and ensure smooth data flow across systems.
- Support Power BI environments, including workspaces, dataset refreshes, access management, and report availability.
- Manage and maintain data structures in Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2.
- Support Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform and/or Azure Blueprints.
- Provide operational support for Azure Virtual Machines and related services.
- Troubleshoot Azure networking components such as VNets, NSGs, DNS, and connectivity issues.
- Contribute to technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base creation.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation, standardization, and platform optimization.
- Proven experience in support and maintenance of cloud-based data platforms.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Azure Databricks, including Unity Catalog and workload management.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Solid knowledge of Azure Data Factory for pipeline support and troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting Power BI environments, including governance and workspace management.
- Knowledge of Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 for data storage and management.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and/or Azure Blueprints.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Virtual Machines and Azure networking concepts.
- Advanced English proficiency (B2/C1 level) for communication with global teams.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to problem resolution.
- Ability to work under pressure in critical, production-grade environments.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and ownership mindset in multicultural teams.
