Job Description
Cascade Fence and Deck - "Work doesn't have to suck"
We are looking for high-caliber people to join our company where you can be a key part of the growth plan. A lot of opportunity to win here.
Cascade has been around since 1997 and recently opened this 2nd location in the Tumwater area a few years ago. Things are going good, and to take it to the next level we know we need people who can truly show up and help us scale and grow this location.
We’re not looking for someone who just wants a job. We’re looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, leads from the front, and wants to be a part of something great.
We can pitch some crap, we have each other’s backs, and we need just some more like-minded people to join the team. Our company highly values the culture and we work hard to make sure everyone loves their job. We're super flexible with time off and we make sure you have plenty of time for your hobbies or family. We work hard, and we make it a good time.
The Role:
-As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing field production, managing crews, maintaining quality standards, and helping projects run smoothly from start to finish.
-You’ll work closely with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and crews to make sure every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the high standards our clients expect.
-This role is for someone who can lead people, solve problems extremely quickly, communicate well, and keep projects moving.
Responsibilities include:
-Managing multiple crews at once
-Helping with schedule and coordinating field ops
-Maintaining jobsite safety and quality standards
-Communicating with clients throughout the project
-Training and developing crew members
-Solving field issues and keeping projects on schedule
-Working alongside the PM team to ensure successful project delivery
-Helping build systems and processes as we continue to grow
Why people like this role:
-You get real ownership and influence in the company
-You’ll help shape the future of a growing branch
-You’ll work with high-end custom fence, deck and patio cover projects
-Opportunity to grow into senior leadership positions
-Local work only, you’ll be home every night
-Flexible culture that values family and work-life balance
Why you might not like this role?
-We work year-round, rain or shine
-Fast-paced environment with high expectations
-You’ll be responsible for solving problems daily
-You need to be comfortable holding people accountable
-Clients expect a high-end experience and strong communication
-You can’t just “clock in and out”, leadership matters here
-If you like drama, excuses, or blaming others, this probably isn’t the fit
Compensation and Benefits
-Hourly wage of $30 to $55 based on experience and leadership ability
-No cap on your earning potential, the more value you bring, the more you can grow
-Fully paid health/dental/vision insurance for you AND your family, 100% paid by us
-2–3 weeks paid time off per year (accrual basis)
-Company vehicle or vehicle allowance depending on position
-Phone stipend
-Tons of opportunity to grow into higher leadership roles
-No mandatory out-of-town work
