Job Description
The Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing industrial equipment installation projects from initiation through completion. This role focuses on project execution, customer coordination, scheduling, budgeting, resource management, and ensuring successful project delivery. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for customers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams throughout the lifecycle of the project. The Project Manager must demonstrate technical depth and exhibit the company’s core values at all times.

Project Planning & Execution
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate all phases of industrial equipment installation projects from kickoff through closeout.
• Define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and milestones with internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and proactively audit schedules and resources to maintain project objectives.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and VA guidelines.

• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure project specifications are met.
• Lead project status meetings and provide regular updates to customers and leadership.
Customer & Stakeholder Management
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and VA guidelines.
• Provide project related written and verbal presentations.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with contractual requirements.
• Manage customer expectations and resolve project-related concerns promptly and professionally.
Risk & Compliance Management
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, OSHA requirements, customer site policies, and industry regulations.
• Monitor installation quality and ensure adherence to approved project specifications.
• Support site audits, inspections, and commissioning activities as required.
Financial & Administrative Responsibilities
• Track project costs, change orders, purchase requirements, and project profitability.
• Review invoices, subcontractor costs, and project expenditures.
• Maintain project documentation including schedules, reports, meeting notes, and closeout packages.

Supervisory responsibilities
The project manager will be responsible for supervising the Design and Engineering Manager and providing guidance to support staff assisting with projects.

Work environment
This position is a remote position. Travel is required for project site visits. There is some exposure to industrial environments. The use of PPE is required when working/visiting industrial environments.
OSHA 30 is required.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
May be required to sit for extended periods of time while demonstrating manual dexterity to accurately work on the telephone, computer keyboard, and other equipment. Must be able to lift and carry 30 pounds in the form of boxes of supplies or product components.
Ability to operate a motor vehicle is required.
Travel required
The travel expectation is generally 25-30% of the time. Employee must be able and willing to travel away from home overnight when necessary.
Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator’s license and maintain to the Company’s sole satisfaction an insurable motor vehicle operating status.

Required education and experience
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred.

At least five years of experience in industrial environments is required.
