Summary/Objective:
Shipping Clerks fulfills customer orders and maintain product inventory levels. They work closely with other Shipping Clerks to review invoices, retrieve products, package products and place labels on outgoing packages. Keep detailed records of incoming and outgoing shipments for management to review at the end of each month.
Essential Functions:

1. Must report defective materials or questionable conditions to supervisor.
2. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
3. Familiar with proper packaging methods and able to interpret visual aids used to convey specific packaging requirements
4. Experience with UPS/FEDEX online software
5. Must be able to fill out bills of lading and be familiar with various forms that are used and required by the freight carriers.
6. Familiar with and able to interpret packing slips, enter into the computer the correct information, to acknowledge the receipt of the goods into the purchase order and processing database.
Work Environment:
Work performed in a shop environment. Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, oils.
Physical Demands:
Able to lift 50 pounds. Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Full-time, Monday through Friday from 8am - 5pm.
