Owns and drives enterprise-level automation strategy, develops scalable test frameworks, and leads Java QA transformation initiatives. This role requires a blend of technical leadership, hands-on expertise, and the ability to mentor engineers while ensuring high-quality, efficient, and reliable software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

· Defines and drives the overall test automation strategy across projects and platforms.

· Designs, develops and standardize scalable, maintainable Java automation frameworks.

· Leads modernization initiatives, including tool selection and framework upgrades.

· Oversees end-to-end automation for web, APIs, mobile, and enterprise applications.

· Integrates automation into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster releases.

· Partners with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Product, DevOps) to embed quality early in the lifecycle (shift-left approach).

· Develops and adheres to QA standards, best practices, and governance across teams.

· Monitors and improves automation coverage, execution efficiency, and defect leakage metrics.

· Mentors and guides automation engineers; conduct code reviews and technical coaching.

· Identifies risks and drives proactive quality improvements across systems.
