  • Oversee all tax-related aspects of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic investments, including due diligence, structuring, integration, and post-transaction optimization.
  • Design and implement tax-efficient repatriation and transfer pricing strategies to optimize global liquidity and minimize effective tax exposure.
  • Develop, maintain, and defend global transfer pricing documentation and intercompany policies across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Conduct advanced tax research on complex federal, state, and international tax matters, particularly those impacting software, SaaS, and technology business models.
  • Support global tax audits and regulatory inquiries by preparing responses, documentation, and strategic defense approaches.
  • Partner cross-functionally with finance, legal, and operational stakeholders to provide tax guidance on key business initiatives and regulatory developments.

Requirements:

  • 8–10 years of progressive experience within Big 4 accounting firms, law firms, or multinational corporate tax environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Strong preference for candidates holding a CPA license, active bar membership, Juris Doctor (JD), and/or LL.M. in Taxation.
  • Deep expertise in US international tax regulations, cross-border structuring, and multinational tax planning strategies.
  • Proven success leading tax workstreams for complex M&A transactions, including due diligence, structuring, negotiation support, and post-acquisition integration.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with global transfer pricing frameworks, documentation requirements, and intercompany arrangements.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling capabilities, with experience building scenario analyses and tax forecasting models.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex tax matters clearly to executive stakeholders.
  • Strategic mindset with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to balance compliance, risk management, and business growth objectives.
  • Prior experience within the software, SaaS, or broader technology industry is highly valued.

Benefits:

  • Competitive base salary ranging from $123,250 to $207,000 USD, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Comprehensive healthcare and wellness benefits designed to support physical, mental, and financial wellbeing.
  • Flexible and remote-friendly work environment promoting work-life balance.
  • Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) and long-term financial growth opportunities.
  • Ongoing professional development, specialized training, and career advancement programs.
  • Inclusive and collaborative workplace culture with employee resource and community groups.
  • Exposure to global operations, executive leadership, and high-visibility strategic initiatives.
