This senior leadership role is responsible for driving end-to-end revenue cycle performance across a multi-site healthcare organization. You will act as a strategic partner to operations and center leadership, translating complex revenue cycle data into actionable insights that improve financial and operational outcomes. The role combines executive-level collaboration, analytical rigor, and hands-on leadership to optimize billing, denial management, and collections performance. You will lead cross-functional alignment between operations and centralized business office teams to ensure consistency, transparency, and accountability. A key part of your impact will be building strong stakeholder relationships and influencing performance improvement across diverse clinical environments. This position also includes team leadership responsibilities, focusing on coaching, development, and elevating organizational capability. - Build and maintain strong relationships with operational leaders, center administrators, physician partners, and revenue cycle stakeholders to drive alignment and performance improvement.
- Lead revenue cycle operating reviews, ensuring clear KPI visibility, actionable insights, and consistent performance tracking across centers.
- Analyze financial and operational trends to identify opportunities for improving billing, collections, and denial management outcomes.
- Translate revenue cycle performance data into executive-ready reports and presentations, linking operational metrics to financial results.
- Serve as the escalation point for revenue cycle and business office issues, ensuring timely resolution and service excellence.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to implement operational improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to corporate standards and policies.
- Lead, coach, and develop direct reports, fostering a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
- 5–10+ years of healthcare revenue cycle or business operations experience, ideally in a multi-site healthcare environment.
- Strong expertise in revenue cycle management (RCM), including billing, denial management, and KPI performance optimization.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and influencing senior stakeholders in a complex organizational structure.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with experience using Power BI or similar analytics tools.
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex data for executive audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, lead cross-functional initiatives, and drive measurable operational improvements.
- Comfort working in a remote environment with up to 35% travel as needed.
