Clinical Dietitian in Bowling Green, Kentucky at Med Center Health

Conducts nutrition screenings and assessments and provides Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) services to patients across inpatient and outpatient settings, including outpatient oncology. MNT services may include nutrition assessments, reassessments, and nutrition counseling for patients and/or family members in accordance with established standards of care. Develops, communicates, and monitors individualized nutrition care plans to support optimal patient outcomes. Collaborates as an active member of the multidisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.

Minimum Qualifications

• Previous clinical and supervised practice experience in an acute hospital setting preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in dietetics or a nutrition-related field required.
• Graduate degree in any field required for individuals credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration after January 1, 2024.
• Registration through the Commission on Dietetic Registration required within three (3) months of hire or transfer.
• Licensed Dietitian in the state of Kentucky required within three (3) months of hire or transfer.
