About the Role: The Staff Accountant plays a key role in maintaining the integrity of the company’s financial records and supporting the day-to-day accounting function. This position is responsible for general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and assisting with the month-end close process. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to contribute to a collaborative team while gaining hands-on experience across multiple areas of the business.
Key Responsibilities: • Help prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes• Support accounts payable, billing, and accounts receivable functions• Assist in preparation of financial statements and internal reports • Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes• Assist with external audits and provide requested documentation• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures• Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency
Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred• 1–3 years of accounting experience• Understanding of GAAP principles• Experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, or similar)• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Locations and Hours• This role will be based in Justin, TX, Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00
Compensation and Benefits

• Salary for this role will be between $50,000 - $85,000 depending on experience.
