The primary responsibilities of this sales position are growth and retention of the Bank’s treasury management and commercial deposit relationships through client cultivation and prospect development. This leadership role works with for-profit and non-profit organizations of any annual revenue size and across all industry sectors including government banking. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for treasury management and commercial deposit products, the position focuses on in-person calling programs with client-facing team members in a designated market. Goals include managing treasury product revenue and pricing for an assigned portfolio, and deposit acquisition through team initiatives and individual networking.

  • Exercises leadership in promoting the Bank’s products and services and identifying opportunities to expand new and existing customer relationships. Participates in all Bank-wide business development initiatives including joint sales calls and business partnership meetings. Promotes products and services to create customer awareness and customer acquisition.
  • Acts as Subject Matter Expert in Bank’s treasury management and commercial deposit products.
  • Generates new deposits and cross-sells through business development efforts and partnerships throughout the Bank.
  • Leads internal and external sales and products and services training and stays informed of rules and regulatory changes that impact the Bank’s treasury management products.
  • Provides exceptional customer service and maintains a high level of responsiveness and persistence to satisfy customer needs.
  • Meets or exceeds annual sales revenue/non-interest goals.
  • Represents the Bank at community events, maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Consistently shares best practices to protect the bank, customers and prospects from fraud.
  • Stays current on all Bank products, services, procedures, policies, and applicable regulatory and compliance requirements by regularly attending team meetings, completing mandatory training on schedule, and applying knowledge to ensure accuracy and compliance in daily operations.
  • Ensures adherence to federal and state laws, regulations, and bank policies by preventing violations, minimizing risks, and safeguarding the Bank’s interests.
  • Verifies transactions and account balances, ensuring compliance with bank policies and state and federal regulations and the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), as applicable to the role.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; MBA or CTP preferred
  • 10+ years of treasury management sales experience
  • Strong experience with Government Banking and Commercial/Middle Market clients
  • Extensive knowledge of treasury management products, pricing, and cash flow analysis
  • Proven ability to develop proposals, pitch books, and RFP/RFI responses
  • Strong understanding of treasury management risk and compliance
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and banking applications
  • Leadership experience mentoring and training teams
  • Ability to travel as needed for client and business needs
