Owners Representative - Electrical in Decatur, Alabama at Advantage Point Group

Advantage Point Group is looking to add an Owners Representative with Electrical experience for a position at an industrial plant located in Decatur Alabama to monitor various industrial construction projects.

APG Owners Reps oversee construction activities on large chemical manufacturing facilities to ensure that the contractors are completing the work safely and compliant with the contract. The ideal candidate has substantial construction management and construction safety experience, preferably in heavy commercial or industrial environments.

Candidate will not be performing the physical labor.

Required Qualifications

• 12 years previous experience in industrial/heavy commercial construction
• Demonstrated ability to manage similar project types, sizes, and complexities
• Construction experience with demolition and industrial equipment upgrade projects
• OSHA 30-Hour
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to deal with political aspects of a large corporate environment.
• A typical work week is 45 hours per week, occasionally working nights and weekends.

Competitive Compensation and Benefits

• Pay Rate: $50-$65 per hour depending upon previous experience and qualifications.
• Overtime is likely and paid at time and a half
