Job Description

Site Contracts Negotiator

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Site Contracts Negotiator in Brazil.

In this role, you will play a key part in enabling the successful start-up and execution of clinical trials by managing the negotiation and finalization of site contracts and budgets. You will work closely with investigator sites, legal, finance, and study teams to ensure agreements are accurate, compliant, and aligned with both local regulations and study requirements. The position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple contracts in parallel while maintaining quality and timelines. You will independently oversee a portfolio of agreements, proactively identifying and resolving negotiation bottlenecks. The environment is collaborative and fast-paced, with a strong focus on compliance, efficiency, and continuous improvement. This is an opportunity to contribute directly to accelerating the delivery of new treatments to patients through effective contract execution.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end negotiation and execution of site contracts, ensuring timely delivery and full compliance with applicable regulations and study requirements. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Negotiating clinical trial agreements and budgets with investigator sites, following established guidelines, playbooks, and internal standards.
  • Reviewing, adapting, and aligning contract language to reflect sponsor requirements, local legal frameworks, and site-specific feedback.
  • Managing a portfolio of contracts, tracking timelines, monitoring cycle performance, and proactively resolving issues that may delay execution.
  • Collaborating closely with legal, finance, project management, and clinical teams to clarify contractual terms and ensure alignment across stakeholders.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of contract negotiations, approvals, and executed agreements within designated systems.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives for contract templates, processes, and negotiation tools, and assisting in mentoring junior colleagues when required.
Requirements

The ideal candidate has experience in clinical trial contracting or similar agreement management roles within the healthcare or life sciences industry. You are organized, proactive, and confident working with multiple stakeholders in a regulated environment. Required qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience in site contracting, contract administration, or similar roles within CRO, pharmaceutical, or healthcare environments.
  • Solid understanding of clinical trial agreements and budget negotiation principles.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously with strong attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a collaborative working style.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary with performance-based incentives.
  • Remote work flexibility.
  • Comprehensive health and wellbeing programs, including medical, dental, and vision coverage where applicable.
  • Retirement and pension plans.
  • Life assurance and disability coverage.
  • Employee assistance and wellbeing support programs.
  • Learning and development opportunities with structured training and career progression pathways.
