This role is a highly technical, customer-facing position focused on advanced CT data analysis and industrial inspection workflows. You will play a key part in leveraging specialized metrology and visualization tools to support high-precision quality control, product validation, and engineering optimization across multiple industries. Acting as both a technical expert and trusted advisor, you will work closely with engineering, metrology, and customer teams to define standards, improve inspection processes, and ensure consistent application of best practices. The environment is innovative, international, and hands-on, requiring frequent collaboration with on-site customer teams and cross-functional stakeholders. You will also contribute to training and mentoring efforts to elevate technical capabilities across teams. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented specialist who thrives in applied engineering and industrial data environments.
In this role, you will lead advanced CT analysis and support the development of standardized inspection workflows while ensuring technical excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Perform advanced CT data analysis using specialized tools such as VGStudio MAX for porosity, inclusion evaluation, dimensional inspection, and visualization
- Develop and standardize best practices for CAD-to-scan alignment, automated inspection macros, and CT data processing workflows
- Collaborate with design engineering and metrology teams to investigate product variations, define tolerances, and support root cause analysis
- Create and maintain inspection protocols, operating procedures, and documentation aligned with customer and industry standards
- Support process improvement initiatives, including correlation studies and measurement system analysis (Gage R&R)
- Provide technical support to engineering and customer teams to enhance tooling development and inspection efficiency
- Train and mentor CT technicians and analysts to strengthen technical capabilities and ensure consistency in inspection practices
This position requires strong expertise in CT data analysis, metrology tools, and industrial inspection processes, along with excellent communication and training abilities.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience applying CT data analysis using VG applications, including wall thickness measurements and automation workflows
- Hands-on experience with Volume Graphics tools such as VGStudio MAX and VGInline, with formal training or certifications preferred
- Experience developing and deploying automated inspection macros and working with CAD tools such as NX
- Strong understanding of metrology, quality inspection processes, and industrial data analysis
- Ability to interpret technical requirements and translate them into standardized workflows and procedures
- Strong documentation, communication, and customer-facing skills with a service-oriented mindset
- Ability to train small groups and support knowledge transfer in technical environments
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 80%, including extended on-site assignments at customer facilities
