Description:

The Request Fulfillment Lead – Short Term Leasing is responsible for managing ULD requests from the Business Development team, ensuring efficient logistics solutions, enabling STL sale conversion, and delivering outstanding customer satisfaction.

This role collaborates with OCC, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure agility and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Excellence and Fulfillment Management:

  • Manage and prioritize STL ULD requests to ensure timely handling around the clock.
  • Collaborate with the Planning and Dispositioning team to formulate effective logistics plans.
  • Proactively balance ULD stock for STL, ensuring stock availability at key STL locations to meet seasonal demands.
  • Standardize and manage the Request to Conversion process to promote STL sales conversion.
  • Ensure data accuracy for invoicing by supporting customer fulfillment processes.

Customer and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Serve as the key contact for solution delivery to maximize STL sales conversion ratio.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with OAL, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Support the commercialization and growth of Short-Term Leasing in collaboration with Business Development, Customer Fulfillment, OCC, and Procurement teams.
  • Gather market and competitor data to ensure up-to-date product and service offerings.

  • Oversee SOP management and escalate anomalies with internal and external providers.

Requirements:

Skills and Experience Required:

  • College or diploma education required, Bachelor/Master degree desirable.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in air cargo and/or ground handling operations.
  • Solid understanding of ULD operations, ULD IATA messaging standards, and air cargo logistics.
  • Proven experience troubleshooting operational issues in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work independently while supporting team goals.
  • Strong decision-making skills based on facts and operational data.
  • Ability to drive operational improvements and implement best practices.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to oversee day-to-day operations and manage team performance.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • High attention to detail, organizational agility, and ability to work effectively across functions.
  • Limited travel requirements (less than 10%).
