This role is centered on leading complex, large-scale IT initiatives that support public sector and enterprise transformation through Microsoft-based technologies. You will oversee end-to-end project delivery across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment between technical teams, stakeholders, and business objectives. The position requires strong leadership across cross-functional engineering, architecture, and cloud teams while maintaining control over scope, schedule, risk, and budget. You will play a key role in delivering cloud migrations, enterprise application deployments, and digital transformation programs. The environment is highly structured yet fast-paced, requiring both strategic oversight and hands-on execution. This is a high-impact role where your leadership directly contributes to mission-driven technology modernization initiatives.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale IT projects across Microsoft technologies, including Office 365, Azure, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and cloud migration initiatives.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring alignment of scope, schedule, budget, and deliverables across all workstreams.
  • Direct cross-functional teams of engineers, architects, strategists, and technical specialists from initiation through production deployment.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation including plans, schedules, status reports, risk logs, meeting notes, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Oversee program-level budgeting, contract execution, and change order management across multiple statements of work.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while implementing quality assurance and performance control measures.
  • Communicate project progress, risks, and outcomes to senior stakeholders and leadership on a regular basis.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with internal and external stakeholders to refine project scope and priorities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 7–10 years of experience in technical project management, ideally within Microsoft-based environments.
  • Proven experience managing large, complex IT programs with multiple simultaneous initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies and ability to apply them effectively based on project needs.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management certification required.
  • Experience in Microsoft technologies such as Azure, Office 365, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and related ecosystems.
  • Strong financial and operational management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and contract oversight.
  • Ability to interpret complex technical requirements and translate them into actionable project plans.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for executive-level stakeholders.
  • Strong risk management, escalation, and decision-making capabilities in complex environments.
  • Experience working in government or regulated environments is a plus, including eligibility for security clearance.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range of $125,000 to $165,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including healthcare coverage and retirement plans.
  • Opportunity to work on mission-driven public sector and enterprise transformation projects.
  • Exposure to advanced Microsoft cloud and enterprise technologies.
  • Career development opportunities within large-scale digital transformation programs.
  • Collaborative environment working alongside highly skilled technical and consulting teams.
  • Fully structured project environments with strong executive visibility and impact.
