Job Description
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a SAP Integration Suite (CPI) Developer in the United States.
This role is a hands-on, technically advanced integration engineering position focused on designing and delivering enterprise-grade connectivity across complex SAP and non-SAP ecosystems. You will work within a highly collaborative environment, building and maintaining scalable integration solutions using SAP Integration Suite (CPI) to support mission-critical business processes. The role spans the full integration lifecycle, from requirements gathering and architecture design through development, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing optimization. You will contribute to both modern API-led architectures and legacy migration initiatives, including SAP PI/PO transitions. Working closely with functional consultants, architects, and external partners, you will ensure reliable, secure, and high-performing data exchange across systems. This is a long-term opportunity in a delivery-focused environment where technical depth and problem-solving directly influence enterprise operations. The position offers strong visibility into large-scale SAP transformation initiatives and modern cloud integration patterns.
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end integration scenarios using SAP Integration Suite (CPI), including iFlows, message mappings, and orchestration logic for synchronous and asynchronous processes.
- Build and enhance integration components using Groovy and Java scripting to support complex transformation, routing, and validation requirements.
- Configure and manage adapters (e.g., HTTP, SOAP, IDoc, OData, REST, SFTP, JMS, AS2, Salesforce) to enable secure and reliable system connectivity.
- Implement integration security standards including OAuth2, SAML, mTLS, and certificate-based authentication across interfaces and APIs.
- Design and support API-led, event-driven, and middleware-based integration architectures aligned with enterprise standards.
- Develop monitoring, error-handling, alerting, and retry frameworks to ensure resilience and observability of integration flows.
- Lead or support migration of SAP PI/PO interfaces to SAP Integration Suite, including redesign, testing, and cutover planning.
- Collaborate with functional teams, architects, and external partners to translate business requirements into technical integration solutions.
- Document interface designs, technical specifications, and operational procedures while providing post-go-live support and root-cause analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of SAP integration experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on work with SAP Integration Suite (CPI).
- Strong expertise in iFlow development, Groovy/Java scripting, and CPI adapter configuration.
- Solid understanding of integration patterns, middleware concepts, and enterprise integration architecture.
- Experience with SAP API Management and familiarity with event-driven integration approaches.
- Prior exposure to SAP PI/PO and migration projects to CPI is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of security protocols such as OAuth2, SAML, and certificate-based authentication.
- Experience working with SAP S/4HANA and other SAP ecosystems (e.g., SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur) is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills in complex technical environments.
- SAP CPI certification, SAP Event Mesh experience, or exposure to CI/CD and DevOps practices is a plus.
- Competitive salary range of $100,000 to $150,000 per year.
- 100% remote position within the continental United States.
- Long-term, multi-year engagement aligned with enterprise integration delivery roadmap.
- Full-time W2 employment with direct organizational engagement (no third-party arrangements).
- Opportunity to work on large-scale SAP S/4HANA integration and cloud transformation initiatives.
- Exposure to modern integration patterns including API-led and event-driven architectures.
- Career growth in enterprise integration, SAP BTP, and cloud-native integration technologies.
- Standard employment benefits package (healthcare, paid time off, and other company benefits depending on eligibility).
