This senior commercial leadership role focuses on driving strategic growth across national data center markets, with a strong emphasis on hyperscale, cloud, and AI-driven infrastructure environments. The position is responsible for expanding high-value enterprise relationships while shaping and executing a coordinated sales strategy across complex, multi-stakeholder ecosystems. Acting as a trusted partner to major clients, you will engage with executive decision-makers, operators, and infrastructure partners to identify new opportunities and deepen existing accounts. The role blends strategic account leadership with hands-on business development in fast-moving, highly technical environments. You will collaborate closely with internal engineering, operations, and delivery teams to ensure solutions align with customer needs. This is a high-impact role designed for a commercially driven leader who thrives in complex, relationship-intensive sales cycles and large-scale infrastructure markets.
- Lead enterprise-level business development efforts across assigned hyperscale, cloud, and data center accounts, driving revenue growth and market expansion.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans, ensuring consistent engagement with key decision-makers and alignment with client infrastructure needs.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across inside plant, outside plant fiber, colocation, fit-outs, and related technical services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with data center operators, contractors, and strategic partners to strengthen long-term account penetration.
- Collaborate closely with internal engineering, operations, estimating, and delivery teams to ensure successful solution positioning and execution.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reporting aligned with business objectives.
Requirements:
- 5–10+ years of experience in data center, hyperscale, cloud, or AI infrastructure-related sales or business development roles.
- Strong technical understanding of ISP/OSP fiber networks, data center construction, cabling systems, and tenant fit-out environments.
- Proven track record of managing enterprise accounts and closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate technical requirements into commercial solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with executive-level stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, along with relevant technical certifications considered a plus.
- Willingness and ability to travel 25–50% as required.
