Food Service Support Associate at Columbus Regional Health – Columbus, Indiana

What you need to know about this position:

• The Food and Nutritional Care department is essential in the support of patient, employee and community health.
• Dynamic team that serves approximately 450,000 meals each year.
• Under the direction of the Food Service Manager, the Food Service Support Associate is responsible for assisting in the organization, planning, and coordinating catered Columbus Regional Hospital events.
• The Food Service Support Associate is also responsible for keeping all department records, such as temperature logs, meeting minutes, personnel files and attendance records.
• The Food Service Support Associate completes financial records and turns them into accounting at the end of each month, schedules in-services and room for department needs.
• The Food Service Support Associate is responsible for the coordination of department orientation, hospital-wide mandatory in-services and compilation of Q1 data.
• The Food Service Support Associate is responsible for posting house-wide and department communication for staff.
• The base hourly rate for the Food Service Support position is $17.44. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
• The PRN position is not benefit eligible, but offers a premium for hours worked. The position is 100% remote, Monday through Friday, with varied hours.

What is required for this position:

Education and/or Experience

• High school graduate and 2-3 years related secretarial or administration experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
