Emergency Vehicle Operator (EVO) at Health Fleet Ambulance Inc – Ft. Washington, Pennsylvania

Job Summary: Provides patient transportation on BLS vehicles to and from various medical facilities. Rewarding full time position, in a team setting, assisting EMTs with patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Assists the EMT partner with transfers / stretcher / equipment needs.
• Operates vehicle safely and professionally, obeying all traffic laws as well as company rules.
• Maintains the cleanliness of the vehicle and ensures needed supplies are in place.
• Communicates with Dispatch to ensure all calls are completed timely.
• Provides a supportive environment during transportation of all patients.
• Assures gas supply is adequate in vehicle to avoid unnecessary stops.
• Demonstrates teamwork, professionalism, honesty and respect.

Requirements:

• Valid drivers license with clear history.
• Valid EMSVO certification
• Experience with BLS vehicles
• Good customer service skills
