Patient Appointment Coordinator
Location: Glendale, CA91202
Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hourHealth Bridge – Appointment CoordinatorPosition Summary:
Fluency in Spanish is required.
The Appointment Coordinator plays a key role in managing patient appointments, ensuring accurate records in our EMR system. This role involves overseeing clinic schedules to identify patients eligible for a Preventative Dental Evaluation, scheduling appointments, providing end-of-day metrics, and communicating results to patients as needed. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential, as the coordinator will work closely with in-office assistants and other team members in real time.Responsibilities:Appointment Scheduling and ManagementSchedule and confirm patient appointments in the clinic’s EHRReview daily clinic schedules to identify patients eligible for Preventative Dental Evaluations according to Health Bridge guidelinesCoordinate with in-office assistants and medical teams to ensure smooth patient check-ins and timely appointment adjustmentsData Reporting and MetricsRecord and monitor daily appointment metrics across multiple schedulesGenerate and report key daily metrics to support clinic tracking and planningProvide end-of-day summaries and activity logs to managementCommunication and CoordinationServe as the primary point of contact for patient check-ins, cancellations, and reschedulesLiaise with in-office teams to address last-minute appointment needs and real-time changesCommunicate with clinical and dental teams regarding Preventative Dental Evaluation appointments and coordination needsProvide patients with their results via phone call, including translation as neededAdministrative SupportSupport doctor and assistant credentialing processesEnsure all patient demographics and appointment details are accurately documented in the EHRMaintain thorough records of patient interactions, appointment changes, and other relevant dataAssist with other administrative tasks to ensure efficient clinic operationsQualifications:Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with patients, team members, and providersSpanish: Fluency in Spanish is requiredOrganization: Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to manage multiple schedules and prioritiesProblem-Solving: Proactive in identifying scheduling issues and providing real-time solutions in a fast-paced environmentJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:Free parkingPaid sick timePaid time offPaid trainingPaid HolidaysBreak Room with Complimentary Snacks
