In Touch Pharmaceuticals is a growing long-term care pharmacy dedicated to providing exceptional pharmacy services to healthcare facilities and the residents they serve. We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Pharmacy Adjudication Specialist to join our Billing Services team!

This position plays an important role in ensuring prescription claims are processed accurately, efficiently, and within established deadlines. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, comfortable working with technology, and enjoys solving problems in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Process and adjudicate pharmacy prescription claims accurately and efficiently.

• Review and resolve rejected claims, insurance discrepancies, and billing-related issues.

• Prioritize daily prescription claims to meet facility-specific processing deadlines.

• Assist with monthly adjudication processes and month-end billing requirements.

• Communicate professionally with internal departments, healthcare facilities, and other relevant parties to resolve claim issues.

• Utilize pharmacy software and electronic systems to research, process, and document claims.

• Collaborate with team members and departmental leadership to maintain efficient workflows.

• Follow established company policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements.

• Assist with additional Billing Services responsibilities based on departmental needs.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

• Previous experience in pharmacy, healthcare billing, insurance claims, or adjudication.

• Familiarity with prescription insurance processing, claim rejections, or reimbursement procedures.

• Experience working in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.

Work is generally performed in an office-based pharmacy environment and may involve prolonged sitting, frequent keyboard and mouse use, repetitive hand and finger movements, and regular telephone communication. Work schedules and assignments may vary based on operational needs.
