About This Position
This position is responsible for guest services at the club as set forth herein to keep the club functioning at top efficiency. The front desk attendant will be the point of contact for Members and guests – providing helpful and knowledgeable service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
1. Complete Guests’ Check-in/out of the Colony House.
2. Provide a warm welcome to Members and guests, handle inquiries, phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department according to their needs.
3. Coordinate with housekeeping to determine room status.
4. Input guest credit cards, update information and record charges to guest accounts.
5. Communicate with other areas to arrange services, such as Bell support, Housekeeping and Dining.
6. Provide information to Members and guests regarding transportation, airports, attractions, etc. as needed.
7. Schedule dinner reservations, coordinate take-out orders and recreational activities.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assist mailroom, bellman, and housekeeping when necessary.
2. Complete other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL OF:
ð Excellent customer service, and interpersonal skills.
ð Proficient in English grammar.
ð Computer software including Microsoft office.
ð Operating office equipment such as photocopiers, scanners, fax machines, and multi-line phone systems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
ð High School Diploma or GED
ð Club, resort, or other hospitality industry experiences are preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, and/or REGISTRATIONS
ð None required.
