Responsibilities

The Privacy Contract Manager partners with Legal, Sales, Procurement, and other internal stakeholders to support privacy-related contracting activities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Review, draft, and negotiate Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), Business Associate Agreements (BAAs), and privacy-related provisions in commercial contracts.
  • Utilize AI-enabled contract review and research tools (including licensed access to HarveyAI and similar platforms) to improve speed, accuracy, and consistency in privacy negotiations.
  • Apply company-approved fallback language and negotiation guidelines to ensure consistency.
  • Identify non-standard terms and escalate issues as appropriate.
  • Manage contract intake, tracking, and workflow to ensure timely turnaround.
  • Maintain privacy contract templates and clause libraries.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for contract review.
  • Support documentation and tracking of contractual privacy obligations.
  • Prepare reports and metrics related to contractual obligations.
  • Review new or changing business initiatives to identify personal data use and flag for risk review.
  • Participate in privacy training and certification programs as required. Attend 1-2 privacy conferences annually. All costs covered by InComm Payments.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in contract management, legal operations, compliance, procurement, or related field preferred, but not required.
  • Experience reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage high-volume workload and competing deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 tools.
  • Prior privacy or data protection experience is a plus but not required; selected candidate will complete privacy training as part of onboarding.
