AM Server (Part-Time), Thistle & Thyme at StepStone Hospitality Inc. – Salt Lake City, Utah

Responsibilities:

· Greet all guests in a warm and enthusiastic manner and assist host or hostess in seating guests as needed.

· Present menu, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food, service, appropriate wines, and food preparation.

· Memorize menu selections and wines including being familiar with daily specials and basic ingredients.

· Maintain and follow all cash handling procedures.

Requirements:

· Previous guest service experience is required.

· Cash handling experience is preferred.

· Conveys company information, decision, or problems to appropriate parties on a timely basis.

· Works to resolve disagreements and is respectful of guests and co-workers.

• Must be available to work a flexible schedule including Weekends and/or Holidays.
• Shift consists of Breakfast and Lunch Service. 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM or 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
• Minimum lifting of 50 pounds.
• Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
• Hearing, writing, typing.
• Minimum pulling of 50 pounds.
• Other duties may be assigned.
• Must be 21 or older to serve alcohol.
• Must possess unexpired or obtain a Utah food handlers permit within 14 days of employment.
