Position Title: Players Club Representative

Department: Marketing

Reports To: Players Club Coordinator

FLSA Designation: Non-exempt

SUMMARY: Responsible for greeting all guests in a pleasant, courteous, and enthusiastic manner while registering guest information for the players club.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned.

  • Maintains awareness of all promotions and trains staff on current promotions.
  • Assures excellent guest service is maintained at a high level at all times and follows policies and procedures.
  • Identifies and reports problems that affect the smooth operation of the players club and promotions.
  • Uses the promotion tracking system to identify un-carded players.
  • May walk floor to solicit players club members by explaining the benefits and encouraging players to join.
  • Uses promotion tracking system to identify top tier players and personally greets those customers.
  • Makes regular announcements on the PA system to create a fun and interactive environment, create awareness of promotions, specials, and upcoming events.
  • Obtains and maintains updates to complete customer information, including mailing addresses, phone numbers, and e-mail addresses.
  • Maintains consistent and punctual attendance.
  • Performs other duties assigned by supervisor or administrator.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general educational degree (GED) required. Basic computer skills to include a working knowledge of word processing and databases required. Two (2) years of similar experience and excellent guest service skills preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must be able to obtain key gaming license.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to employees, patrons, management, and directors.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES: Ability to maintain Human Resources confidentiality. Must maintain professional behavior, possess exceptional customer, and employee service skills always.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is almost continuously required to walk, sit, stand, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and continuously repeat the same hand, arm or finger motion many times as in typing. The employee will frequently interact with other staff members and customers. Specific vision abilities required in this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee may occasionally lift up to 25 pounds, such as boxes of paper.
