About This Position
Access Health Dental is seeking an experienced, professional Orthodontic Treatment Manager who is enthusiastic about providing quality care to our orthodontic patients. The ideal candidates for this position will communicate effectively with patients and team members on all administrative aspects of the treatment process and ensuring that patients have a positive and informed experience throughout their orthodontic journey.
Who We Are:
Access Health Dental (“AHD”) is a dental service organization (“DSO”) founded in 2012 to provide an innovative, systematic approach to the delivery of oral health care in the greater Las Vegas area.
Core Responsibilities:
The Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator plays a pivotal role in facilitating the treatment process for orthodontic patients. This involves coordinating with the orthodontist, dental staff, and patients to ensure a seamless and positive experience from initial consultation to the completion of treatment.
- Treatment Planning:
- Collaborate with orthodontists to develop personalized treatment plans based on patient assessments
- Lead efforts related to explaining treatment plans, including procedures, duration, and costs, to patients
- Financial Coordination:
- Responsible for communicating detailed information on treatment costs, payment plans, and insurance coverage.
- Assist patients in understanding financial responsibilities
- Appointment Scheduling:
- Coordinate and schedule appointments for consultations, treatment procedures, and a follow-up visit
- Ensure that appointment schedules align with the treatment plan and patient availability
- Patient Reception:
- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office
- Provide a positive and friendly first impression to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Documentation and Records:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans, and progress notes, and document all patient communication and financial agreement
- Prepare necessary documentation for insurance claims and approvals
Experience and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a dental or orthodontic office
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of orthodontic procedures, treatment options, and terminology
- Familiarity with dental software and administrative systems
- Leadership and management experience preferred
- Organizational and multitasking abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require additional education or certification)
